David's Redhaired Death tells a story of love, life altering decisions and death. We can all relate to the story regardless of who we love or have loved in our lives. Jean and Marilyn meet through their mutual friend and quickly fall in love. The turbulent affair is confusing and complicated but their connection is undeniable. They become mirrors of each other, reflecting self-love, sisterly love, and romantic love, as their worlds transform around them into a redhead world of their own making.
At the moment of true connection, their relationship is put to the test when the phone rings. Jean's brother, David, is dead. The news comes crashing down on top of them. Now they are faced with a choice. How can this new love move forward through death? Will tragedy redefine the beauty of the moments they have shared? Or will they choose to move beyond death and embrace the present moment? Their story offers us something of ourselves, and challenges us to examine our own lives for the traumas and emotions to which we cling that prevent us from finding our own happiness.
