Seattle is one of the most exciting cities in the world for Music, Culture and Art. The Static Guide started as a community publication in the summer of 2008. With the help of local Seattle writers, photographers and designers the Static Guide was born!
Reporting on Seattle Music, Art and Culture, Static Guide's first printing was themed around Seattle's yearly Decibel Festival. The Guide featured articles detailing excursions through the city, including places to eat, favorite local hot spots, shopping and highlights of the Festival. The guide was conveniently packaged inside of a static bag, with several complimentary items in line with its theme: stickers, flyers for upcoming events, CDs and other great offerings.
In an effort to to produce an artifact for the Seattle explorer, the Guide is designed to unlock some of our great city's hidden gems. A unique look at Seattle through the eyes of artists, musicians and young entrepreneurs.
Whether your first time in Seattle, or a Seattle native, the guide is a memento of the Seattle experience in an age of total digital information.
We are currently working on our next issue, Static Guide 2.0, If you are interested in contributing anything please email us at submission@staticguide.com
Static Guide 2.0 will be out again this summer. In the meantime check out the digital version of SG 1.0 on line at http://WWW.STATICGUIDE.COM
