Honoring 4h anniversary of "Fred Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties & the Constitution Day", officially observed January 30th as declared by the State of CA governor in perpetuity.
Event theme: "Stand Up For What is Right!" as demonstrated and said by Mr. Korematsu.
Keynote speaker: Jose Antonio Vargas, Pulitzer Prize journalist, writer & director of new documentary film "Documented" about his "undocumented" experience, founder of nonprofit "Define American". Q & A to follow keynote.
Special Guest Speaker: Congressman Mike Honda, 17th District will make comments on our immigration issues, especially "undocumented" immigrants as it will be an upcoming hot issue for the U.S. Congress as they start back into session.
Emcee: Lloyd La Cuesta, retired Broadcast Journalist and Adjunct Professor of Journalism at SJSU.
