Capital Classics Radio Theatre
Back by popular demand for this Halloween season, the Capital Classics Theatre Company presents radio theatre-style entertainment of Horror-filled Tales, including "Don't Tell Me About Halloween"; "The Dark"; and "Knock at the Door." These classic radio plays of terror will get you in the proper state of mind for a Halloween of Horror!
Over the years, Capital Classics has staged radio theatre-style performances of "Macabre Macbeth," "Poe Down Below, an evening of Edgar Allan Poe stories," Bram Stoker's "Dracula," "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow," "The War of the Worlds," "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein," and "The Invisible Man."
Directed by Capital Classics co-founder and director of several past Radio Theatre productions Laura Sheehan, the performances will also include music, song, and live Foley sound effects, performed right before your very ears!
So come to the Capital Classics Radio Theatre performances of "Halloween Horror: An Evening of Old Time Radio Theatre" and let your imagination take you to those chilling corners of your mind!
Performances will be held in the beautiful classical-styled Hoffman Auditorium on the campus of the University of Saint Joseph, 1678 Asylum Avenue, West Hartford, CT 06117. Ample free parking.
Performance dates and times are Thursday, October 20; Friday, October 21; Saturday, October 22 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, October 23 at 2 p.m.
Cost for Tickets are $20.00 Adults; $14.00 Seniors/Students/Groups of 10+. These prices include all ticket fees.
