Voices of Hope: An Evening with Author Glennon Melton
Glennon Doyle Melton, New York Times best-selling author, blogger, and founder of the online community, momastery.com will share her inspiring thoughts and experiences with life, faith, and hope in the midst of struggle. In this loud, crowded and frenetic world, Glennon provides fresh, funny insight on ways to find our voices so we may live our lives with love and authenticity. ALL proceeds from this event will be given to H.O.P.E., an organization dedicated to eliminating childhood hunger in Forsyth County. Learn more about H.O.P.E. here: http://www.hopews.org/
For Voices of Hope, Glennon will share her journey with us. Her mistakes and triumphs, recounted with candor and humor, will encourage us to forgive ourselves for our imperfections and inspire all to make the most of life's gifts. She has a lot to say about faith, living honestly and courageously, forgiving ourselves, and letting go of the idea of perfection. Her book, CARRY ON, WARRIOR, THOUGHTS ON LIFE UNARMED, proves that by shedding our weapons and armor, we can stop hiding, competing, striving for the mirage of perfection, and build better lives in our hearts, homes, and communities.
