A Doll's House, Part 2 - Presented by RFCT and NSUMC
It was 1879 (in Henrik Ibsen's groundbreaking play "A Doll's House") when Nora Helmer slammed the door on her traditional life as wife and mother to venture into the unknown possibilities of her individual potential. It is now 1894 (in Lucas Hnath's stunning sequel A Doll's House, Part 2) when Nora returns for the first time to face her husband, child and housekeeper who have lived the last 15 years without her. From shocking start to inevitable finish - with a surprising amount of comedy in between - " A Doll's House, Part 2" electrifies one of the greatest plays ever written with a smorgasbord of incisive indictments and blistering banter.
The play will be performed two consecutive weekends in different venues: first at the North Shore United Methodist Church in Wading River, October 1st and 2nd; the following weekend at the Jamesport Meeting House in Jamesport, October 8th and 9th.
