San Francisco LGBT Community Center presents Soiree 7
Step right up, ladies and gentlemen and help the San Francisco LGBT Community Center celebrate our seventh anniversary with Soiree 7! Enjoy a three-ring inspired evening of performances showcasing San Francisco's diverse community in support of an important San Francisco institution.
Experience a sensual world of burlesque dancers, cabaret performers and more throughout the night. Enjoy three different stages showcasing gay burlesque troupe Boylesque, outrageous clown dance troupe Fou Fou Ha!, drag legend Glamamore, dark-cabaret maestro Vinsantos and many more. In the Sideshow Lounge, behold queer carnie spectacles, including astounding magicians, contortionists and stilt-walkers!
Guests can also bid on dozens of unique items in both silent and live auctions, including vacations, works of art and dining packages. More than one dozen of San Franciscos best restaurants will provide gourmet morsels and inventive cocktails to stimulate all your senses.
Later in the evening, Soiree 7 shifts into party mode, paying tribute to San Franciscos queer nightlife. Local celebrity DJs including DJ Bus Station John, Honey Soundsystem and Juanita MORE! will provide a late-night, high-energy soundtrack.
Soiree 7 will be hosted by San Francisco comics Lisa Geduldig and David Hawkins. The event is sponsored by Wachovia, AT&T, California Pacific Medical Center, Pacific Gas & Electric, Wells Fargo, Southwest Airlines, San Franciscos SKYY Spirits, Barefoot Wine & Bubbly, Comcast Cable, Safeway, AAA, Kaiser Permanente, Safeway, Lennar Urban, Hanson Bridgett, Greenleaf Produce, National Center for Lesbian Rights, RHI Office Team, Bechtel, Sunset Scavenger/Golden Gate Disposal and Recycling and Horizons Foundation.
