11th annual cheshire rock opera
The brainchild of Oakland artist/musician Sean Lee, The Cheshire Rock Opera, now in its 11th year, is a full-immersion participatory experience weaving together popular songs, musical renditions of Carroll's works, and audience interaction, at a costumed Tea Party you will never forget!
This madcap evening features a "Queen's Concert", a variety show with special musical guests from Oakland's bohemian underground. All those in Alice costumes are invited to join the Alice Costume & Dance Competition for fantastic prizes. In addition, local artists will be on hand with vending booths to ply their wares.
