Matti Kovler Ensemble: Bittersweet Cabaret
Russian born, Israeli raised, now Boston based composed Matti Kovler's work has earned rave reviews from the Boston Globe and New York Times. This program showcases compositions that blend pop and classical styles and mystic and comic inspirations. Featuring American Idol's Brett Lowenstein and Matthew Shifrin and selections from Kovler's 'Children's Songs' and other recent Jewish Music Theater productions. Songs in Hebrew, Yiddish, Russian and English with translation.
