Pints for Pigs Peace, a pig-themed afternoon of fun at Central Cinema to benefit Pigs Peace Sanctuary and NARN. There is limited space for this special event, so get your ticket ASAP!
Get ready for beer, movies, vegan food, brew-themed drawing prizes, and other treats. Buy some food and a pint or two and sit back and enjoy an awesome double-feature -- the now-classic film, Babe (remember that cute, spunky little pig who squirmed his way into our hearts back in 1995? Yep, we do, too!) and a heartwarming documentary about the important work at Pigs Peace Sanctuary. Bring some cash for drawing tickets; we have some sweet prizes coming your way.
Plenty of options for beer lovers, wine lovers, and non drinkers of all sorts! Plus, this is a totally kid-friendly event and open to all ages. You'll be able to buy some of Central Cinema's best vegan food including their vegan "pig in a blanket" and vegan pizza.
Pigs Peace is a 501(c)3 Animal Sanctuary located in Stanwood Washington. This haven sits on 39 acres of meadow and forest land with ponds and trails. Excursions into the woods are enjoyed daily, sometimes by groups of pigs on social outings and also by individual pigs exploring.
All the pigs roam freely choosing where they sleep, graze, root and explore. They choose from many structures to sleep in, from the large barn to smaller sheds and huts. Even a few cozy suites for two under the trees. All sleeping areas are filled with soft hay for bedding. They choose their own schedules with some pigs up early and others sleeping in. You will see lifelong friendships and social groups.
