In honor of the 100th anniversary of the Los Angeles Aqueduct, please join Grand Central Market for a screening of Roman Polanski's noir masterpiece, "Chinatown," at the Million Dollar Theatre. Located in the former Metropolitan Water District Building where water mastermind William Mulholland presided from his suite of offices, the Million Dollar Theatre is Sid Grauman's first movie palace.
Starring Jack Nicholas, Faye Dunaway, and John Huston, "Chinatown" is a powerful and shocking story of greed, lust, power, and frustration: the very qualities that make Los Angeles great.
The film begins at 7:30, but for one night only Grand Central Market will be open for dinner until 8:00pm. Have an amazing meal, see an amazing film, visit an amazing place.
Note: concessions only available in Grand Central Market. Parking available in the Grand Central Parking Structure at 308 S. Hill St.
