Misner & Smith Concert

The Marshall Grange is pleased to announce the return of musicians Sam Misner and Megan Smith for a special Thanksgiving weekend concert on Saturday November 30 beginning at 7:30 P.M.
Sam Misner and Megan Smith first met in a production of the musical "Woody Guthrie's American Song". Combining the sound of Smith's upright bass and mandolin and Misner's guitar with perfectly blended harmonies, they perform roots music that has been described as "the perfect balance between traditional and contemporary". As actors and musicians, they have a special stage presence that took last years audience on a wonderful ride down a road of stories, jokes and songs reminiscent of the early days of Simon and Garfunkel. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, they have earned a solid following both locally and nationally. As one reviewer put it, " with a timeless San Francisco sound and revitalized imagery in their ever-poetic songwriting, Misner & Smith are a duo not to be missed." They will be performing at the Marshall Grange as part of a tour promoting their recently released 4th album, "Seven Hour Storm". This is your chance to hear them in a friendly and intimate setting where you know they will have a good time, and so will you.
