Alice In Wonderland: A Tale With No Porpoise
A new twist on an old favourite, this show will be a ridiculous romp through a physical comedy of madness. For new audiences, old audiences and people new to being an audience, the only porpoise of this show is to make Wonderland wonderful, theatre magical and everything absolutely absurd. You'd be mad as a hatter to miss this show!
Based on the books by Lewis Carroll
No Porpoise Productions is a new professional group of good old friends who realize that there is just as much merit in silly theatre as there is in "Daring new theatre", both for the audience, the actors, and the sustainability of theatre in a world of TV and movies. We believe that theatre, as a form of entertainment, should be entertaining. We also strongly believe that it should be for everyone. We love good theatre. We think you should too. We also think that we have the brains, the heart and the courage (not to mention the ruby shoes) to make good theatre.
We are currently in rehearsals, working on "Alice In Wonderland: A Tale With No Porpoise" a new script, written by our very own Katie Leamen. It will be a fantabulous time, so don't be late!
