Medicine Ball: Playwrights v. Poets
The Seattle Playwrights' Collective is taking its popular Medicine Ball: Playwrights v. Poets event to the next level by fully producing it! We're bringing together 7 playwrights and 7 poets, pairing them off, and then giving them a prompt to write toward. Once we get the plays and poems, we present them in a series of rounds like a boxing match playwright v. poet and the audience gets to vote on who wins. At the end of the night, the winning team each wins a bottle of two buck chuck and the losers a can of Pabst Blue Ribbon.
