Build It Up East TN Fall Lunch Fundraiser
Build It Up East TN is proud to announce our Fall Lunch Fundraiser, which will feature a delicious meal made from locally sourced ingredients. Build It Up is dedicated to supporting local food and sustainable agriculture in our region. While the harvest season is coming to a close, there are still many ways to eat local. The lunch will feature butternut squash soup, freshly baked bread, salad, dessert and tea. The event will include live music and speakers involved in the local food movement.
The proceeds of the event will go toward Build It Up's 2014 programming. We will be running another series of gardening workshops, starting a seed library, and helping a low-income housing community in Erwin, TN to start a new community garden.
Come share a meal with us and learn more about the fun work we are doing in East Tennessee!
