The Art of Community Northwest, Co-Opportunities for Sustainability
Presented by the Fellowship for Intentional Community (FIC) at Bastyr University from September 8-10, 2006, the Art of Community Northwest will bring together people interested in building community wherever they live, and will highlight successful and sustainable efforts in a variety of communities (including cohousing, coops, ecovillages). The weekend is designed to connect people and neighborhoods with each other, share ideas and projects, and further the region's livability. The program will bring in voices from green-leaning businesses and nonprofits, showcasing multiple ways to move us all toward greater sustainability and richer community life. There will be interactive workshops, plenary speakers, music, art, dancing, a live auction, networking opportunities, and tables available for groups.
