Fellswater is Boston's dynamic instrumental Celtic music ensemble, playing a wide range of music from Traditional to modern compositions that draws from the heritage of all the Celtic nations, especially Scotland, Ireland, Brittany and Canada. Fellswater's performers include Sarah MacConduibh on whistle & flute, Jim MacConduibh on guitar, mandolin, and bouzouki, Betsy Ketudat on violin, and Matthew Phelps on smallpipes. Fellswater has released two well-received albums: "Fellswater" (2010) and "Thursday Night" (2013).
The Scottish fiddle-and-cello duo Elizabeth and Ben Anderson will open for Fellswater.
Doors 7:30, concert 8:00.
$10 students, seniors and the unemployed; $13 in advance; $15 at the door.
Tickets will be available beginning September 1.
The Eliot Street Coffeehouse, a co-production of the First Church in Jamaica Plain and notloB Parlour Concerts, are presented in the beautiful and acoustically sound First Church in JP's parish hall.
