PUSHING DAISIES is the afterlife encounter in a suburban Detroit cemetery of three very different menan American soldier who died in Vietnam, a suburban father who suffered a heart attack and a gay teenager murdered in a hate crime. Forced to spend eternity together, the three establish a revealing friendship. The Sandhill Theatre Company production of PUSHING DAISIES is a remount of the Bailiwick Directors Festival production and features reprised performances by cast members AJ Durand (Eric), Jeffrey Fauver (Louie) and Evan Lipkin (Ernie); Colin Woodside (Actor) joins the cast. David Ward performs the role of Eric on Friday evenings. PUSHING DAISIES premiered in February 2003 in Ann Arbor, Michigan; the ABC network television series with which it shares a title is completely unaffiliated with the play.
In Nathaniel Wrights TEN MINUTE PLAY II a young Chicagoan reacts to a relationship-altering confession from her best friend. In WHAT IF? by David Alex a father and daughter share a tender moment in a shoe store. THE RED LINE by Evan Lipkin is the story of a young man who decides to leave his girlfriend after a mysterious encounter on the CTA. The casts include Katie Frient, Evan Lipkin and Colin Woodside.
