The So-Cal Dance Invitational, presented by South Coast Dance Arts Alliance, will be presented on Saturday, February 8th at 8pm at the Martha B Knoebel Dance Theater of Cal-State University Long Beach under the direction of Nannette Brodie. Southern California choreographers and dance companies have applied to the festival via audition. This is the 9th presentation of the So-Cal Dance Invitational.
We are featuring about 45 performers in the festival from Los Angeles County and Orange County for this esteemed event. The choreographies were reviewed by an artistic panel and then selected artists were invited to perform.
Choreographers include: Chris Baltes, Nannette Brodie, Dennzyl Green, Marie Hoffman, Hyoin Jun, Josh Romero, Evan Rosenblatt, Jennie Sustaita, Stephanie Maxim and Jana Taylor.
The So-Cal Dance Invitational mission is to provide access to professional concert dance to the public and to connect the diverse dance community of Southern California.
