A group of all-star, all-female singers and musicians coming together for a rare appearance during Domestic Violence Awareness month, for Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence.

This 2nd Annual concert will again feature powerhouse blues revue, Girls Got the Blues, "Rocking for Domestic Violence Awareness Month" 8-10:30p.m. Sunday, October 6th, at Theatre on San Pedro Square, 29 N. San Pedro, in downtown San Jose. Admission is $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Led by Lara Price, an All American singer with a sultry stage presence and a voice that demands your attention- smoky, lonely, sexy, and powerful - Lara has shared the bill with R&B legends, Etta James, James Brown, Buddy Guy, Leon Russell. Lara Pricewas born in the war torn country of Vietnam in 1975. Abandoned at birth, she became a part of the controversial As an infant, she became part of the controversial Operation Baby Lift and her journey out of Vietnam to the US was nothing short of a miracle. They round out any performance with their vocals, stage presence and energy.There will be some of the most famous local Blues artists, All Women Band. This show was a sell out last year. You hear "off the hook" performances for two hours.
