Illumination Opera presents 3 Comic Operas Cabaret Style!
Open seating at cocktail tables for the first 80 ticket holders. Have a glass of wine, beer, or a seasonal martini while you enjoy 90 minutes of laughter
The evening opens with Thomas Pasatieris opera buffa, "Signor Deluso", set in 1920s Europe where lovers jump to the wrong conclusion in a send-up of grand opera.
The second act is Gian Carlo Menottis "The Telephone". Will Ben ever be able to get Lucys undivided attention to ask a very special question?
The final act is Douglas Moores "Gallantry, a Soap Opera" (really) with a surgeon-nurse-patient love triangle and live on-camera commercials.
