About The Doula Project:
The Doula Project (www.doulaproject.org) is a volunteer-led non-profit that works to advance a vision of holistic pregnancy care for all people in New York City. Since 2007, we have provided physical, educational, spiritual, and emotional support to thousands of pregnant people, free of charge, across the spectrum of pregnancy. The Doula Project works to create a society in which all pregnant people have access to the care and support they need during their pregnancies and the ability to make healthy decisions for themselves, whether they face birth, miscarriage, stillbirth, fetal anomaly, or abortion.
