Skyway Wastewater Treatment Plant Tours - Doors Open Burlington
Enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the Skyway Wastewater Treatment Plant during this year's Doors Open Burlington!
The Skyway Wastewater Treatment Plant provides the final cleaning process/treatment of wastewater for the City of Burlington. Through a series of filtration processes, the facility has the capacity to treat and discharge the equivalent of over 56 Olympic pools of clean water into Hamilton Harbour, Lake Ontario every day.
The Skyway Wastewater Treatment Plant will be offering three tour slots during Doors Open Burlington on September 28,2019.
Pre-registration is required to tour the facility and each tour will be capped at 40 tour participants.
*Not recommended for children 12 and under. All participants must wear flat, close-toed shoes.
Skyway Wastewater Treatment Plant Tour Slots:
First Tour: 11:00 a.m.
Second Tour: 1:00 p.m.
Third Tour: 3:00 p.m.
