Chef Chad White of Plancha Baja Med at The Cellar on August 5th!
Plancha Baja Med is a traversing supper club, meaning it "pops up" once in a location then goes away. Offering a prix fixe style menu that changes as Chef Chad is inspired by his travels and his peers. This is a nonspecific dining experience that allows his imagination to run wild: cooking however, wherever and whenever he wants.
MENU Cucumber - Caracol, pickled cucumbers, cucumber-cilantro gel, cucumber leaves, avocado puree, habanero salt (Rebel Coast Winery, Pink Panda)
Tomato - Tomato mustard, smoked gnudi, tomato dust, heirloom tomato, tomato oil (Rebel Coast Winery, Reckless Love with Carpano-Antica vermouth, black pepper-barry foam & tobacco)
Corn - Choice of Corned Pork Jowl (or) Corned Local Rock Cod with masa, huitloche, charred corn, onion confit, burnt lime kewpie, oregano (Noble Ale Works, Pistol Whip'd)
Zucchini - Zucchini bread, squash blossom bunelo, honey-goat cheese gelato, walnut brittle (Bouche d'Or Chardonnay)
$45/person + $25 for the wine pairing, July 23rd through August 2nd
$55/person + $25 for the wine pairing, August 3rd through August 5th
