Friday October 4th 2013 - Join us for an extraordinary evening of Music and Dance, featuring a beautiful, multicultural crossroads experience of tradition and innovation, sound and sight.
House of Tarab (www.houseoftarab.com), Seattle's Premiere Arabic Music Ensemble, will begin the evening with some classic Egyptian music featuring astounding dance performances by multi award-winning Elisa Gamal (www.elisagamal.com) & the legendary performance artist Delilah (http://visionarydance.com)
Then get your groove on with The Nathaniel Johnstone Band (http://www.nathanieljohnstone.com). Lead by multi-instrumentalist Nathaniel Johnstone (violin, viola, banjo, mandolin, and guitar), their vibrant sound crosses boundaries and borders, resulting in a blend of European, Middle Eastern, and South American music with Jazz, Rock, Surf, Folk, Gothic, and Steampunk influences. They will be joined on stage by world-renown bellydance fusion artist Tempest (http://www.darklydramatic.com).
