Judy Banker Band at Johnny's Speakeasy
I'm thrilled to be back at Johnny's Speakeasy -- one of the coolest live music venues anywhere - and with a full band show!
Featuring Tony Pace, Alan Pagliere, Brian Williams, Dave Roof and John Sperendi.
I'm busy polishing up a set of original songs for my next CD at informal "fireside and bourbon" music sessions in my living room with my good friends (and some of the best musicians around) David Roof, Tony Pace, Brian Williams, John Sperendi and Alan Pagliere. When the songs are ready, we'll head into Dave's Rooftop Recording studio for final recording. But meanwhile, we have a musical brainstorm process going on, with Dave at the helm producing and recording rough mixes, Ben Sayler producing, and the rest of us playing, singing, and experimenting.
This show at Johnny's is called Road Test because we're bringing what we'll have so far to you, to test it out---see how it feels playing the arrangements out in public, and to see how you feel about them.
We'll also be playing a few of my songs from my other two CDs and a favorite cover or two, so you'll be hearing some familiar tunes as well. Anyway-- we need you at this one friends. There's no road test of the new tunes without you. Hope you'll join us!
Oh and an opening set by none other than Johnny Williams himself!
We're also thrilled to have JULIAN stop by for a special appearance.

Show starts at 8 pm.
This show will require using the shuttle provided by Johnny's Speakeasy to and from the show.
Please drop your passenger(s) off at Johnny's where they can secure seats; then drive to Plum Market and wait for the shuttle back.
(Usually a silver Honda Oddesy; sometimes a green Kia Soul.)
Plum Market is located in the Maple Village Shopping Center at the corner of Maple & Dexter.
