Join the staff and Board of the William Way LGBT Community Center on Saturday, October 5, from 6:00 to 10:00 P.M. for an evening of enchantment and revelry at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (128 N. Broad St.), one of the most captivating spaces in the city. Celebrate the William Way LGBT Community Center and the diverse and vibrant community it serves with over 350 guests and honorees.
This year, the Center is privileged to honor the following individuals and institutions for their ongoing commitment to the region's LGBT community:
Mayor Michael Nutter: Humanitarian of the Year Award Rev. Rodger Broadley: Lifetime Achievement Award PECO: Corporate Partner of the Year Award Philly Dyke March: Community Partner of the Year Award
Indigo Ball, always a sell-out event, will include a magnificent four course dinner preceded by butlered hors d'oeuvres and a four hour open bar in the museum's two sculpture galleries. And for everyone who loves to cut a rug, there will be a dance floor and deejay playing hits from the 1950s through to today's biggest hits.
Individual tickets are $200 and tables of ten are $2,000. More than half of the seats have already been sold, so buy now and reserve your space.
Contact Michael Pomante at 215-732-2220 or mpomante@waygay.org with any questions.
