Clear the way for a new trail on the St. Croix
Spend a morning on the beautiful St. Croix River cleaning up an area beginning at the Depot in Stillwater and working north along Browns Creek Trail (the former Zephyr rail line), which will connect to the Gateway Trail that runs to Saint Paul. Conservation Corps Minnesota youth crews will lead the volunteer event. Wear sturdy shoes and protective clothing. Conservation Corps will provide work gloves, eyewear and hand tools. To reach the volunteer site from Highway 36, drive north on Highway 95 through downtown to the public lot at the intersection of Main Street and Laurel Street. Volunteers of all ages are welcome. This event is made possible by the Fred C. and Katherine B. Andersen Foundation and the Andersen Corporate Foundation. Water bottles and promotional support provided by REI.
