Come to Hollywood on August 18th-- Benefit Fundraiser for Japan America Artist Foundation (JAAF)!!

This Cosplay gathering/event will feature an Anime / Cosplay costume contest for your favorite anime character with $300 cash prize for the first prize winner, $125 for second prize, $75 for third prize and free passes to Anime Expo 2014 for all top five finalists.

SPECIAL GUEST LIVE PERFORMANCE BY: Anime superstars, JAM Project (Japan Animation-Song Makers Project) will perform live in a rare LA area show with all five members of the current lineup!

JAM Project has announced that they will perform "Cha La Head Cha La" and One Piece opening theme song: "We Are" + several JAM project group songs, and songs/solos by the individual group members!

Advance Online sales will end Sat. Aug 17 8:00 PM.  General Admission tickets will still be available for purchase in person at the door one hour before the show!

                GENERAL ANIME/COSPLAY CONTEST SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
       Contest entry is limited to 20 entrants on a first come-first served basis!!

We strongly encourage a live performance aspect (skit, song, dance, speech, etc.) for each competing cosplayer.  
Costumes and performances must be PG-13 or less.
Performances must be limited to 3 minutes in length.
Costumes made by the wearer or store-bought costumes are acceptable.  
Entrants may enter alone or in a group. Groups count as a single entry, and cannot be larger than 4 members.
Entry slots are non-transferable.
ALL contestants must arrive and check-in with contest organizers onsite by 7:15pm on Aug. 18th with their labled MP3 track (if any to be used), and to get final instructions.

MUSIC/AUDIO:
All audio for performances must be provided as an MP3 on a freshly burned CD and put your music or audio on track one. PLEASE write your full name on your CD.
There will also be a microphone for skits on stage.

OTHER RULES:
You will be disqualified and removed from the stage if you use any foul or obscene language, bring any real weapons, bring/use food, perform acrobatics or jumping off of the stage, public exposure (nudity) is not allowed.
Everything that comes with you on stage MUST come back off with you. No confetti, liquid, messy substances, glitter, or anything else that cannot be quickly picked up/removed by you at the end of your entry.

JUDGING:
All participants will be given scores by a panel of judges for Performance, Presentation, Spirit, and Entertainment value.
The Cosplayer with the highest total scores in each category will be awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes which consist of: $300 first prize, second prize of $150, third prize of $50, plus free passes to Anime Expo 2014 for all of the top FIVE finalists!
