Belgian Beer Dinner at Riva Crab House on Navy Pier
Join us on Tuesday, July 16 as we explore the unique flavor profiles of Belgian Beer. Belgian Master Beer Sommelier Marc Stroobandt will lead the way as we explore wonderful food and beer pairings.
You'll learn what makes a well balanced beer, how to properly taste beer, why certain beers pair well with certain dishes, and so much more!

About Marc Stroobandt Marc is a Belgian Master Beer Sommelier who travels the world to inform, educate, train and inspire people about beer and is a leading authority in food and beer pairings. He started his career when he worked in a Belgian Beer House to fund his studies at Law School in Belgium. Soon he switched from one bar to another and did various courses and studied beer extensively in Belgium and abroad, with a stint at catering college to train as a chef, whilst working in leading beer bars and restaurants. Marc is a member of the British Guild of Beer Writers and has been awarded an honorary knighthood by the Chevalerie du Fourquet des Brasseurs of the Confederation of Belgian Brewers.
