Reflection/Refraction at the Queer Arts Festival
Reflection/Refraction presents performance art inspired by short films, wrapped in a queer blanket. This project pairs Kristina Lemieux, of the Tomorrow Collective's Brief Encounters fame, and filmmaker Jen Crothers to commission five Vancouver performing artists to create five new works in response to five short films (five minutes or less). There are no boundaries to how that inspiration plays out. Artists & Films Cris Derksen (cellist) - The Bus Pass by Narissa Lee David C.
