Plan for Success
Do you have a great idea for a business but need help turning it into reality?  Have a small business that you are ready to take to the next level?

Join other entrepreneurs like yourself in a 10-week series of intensive but supportive workshops on all aspects of business ownership that will help you achieve your goals.
Tuition is $240 + processing fees per business if paid by credit card or $240 if paid by check, which includes workbook materials you keep.  A limited number of scholarships will be available. Classes will take place every Tuesday evening from March 12th through May 14, 2019, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.

Taught in a relaxed and supportive environment, the class is designed to take entrepreneurs through all aspects of owning and growing a business, including legal structure, targeting and marketing to customers, cash flow projections, funding sources and accessing capital. With one or two key topics addressed each week, class participants will learn from experts and have interactive discussions with presenters and peers. At the end of the class, participants will have a completed a business plan that will help them implement their idea and communicate their goals to outside supporters and funders.

The course instructor, Jim Williams, has extensive experience in business planning. He holds a Masters Degree in Business focused on sustainable, resilient, regional businesses. Williams is an ex-Arthur Andersen management consultant, former Senior Consultant/Managing Director for WDHB Consulting Group and a Small Business Development business consultant. He was owner of Best Friend Nutrition, a health food store for pets in Sequim, for 14 years until he sold the business in 2017.  Williams teaches a similar class at the Jefferson EDC in Port Townsend.
