In celebration of the Bloedel Reserve's 25th anniversary, Rose & the Nightingale will swoop in and delight the audience with an outdoor performance that will be both uplifting and contemplative. The all-female group are masterful musicians playing violin, cello, piano and trumpet, and sing in three-part harmonies. Lyrics from their "Spirit of the Garden" album were written by poets and commemorate the bond between nature and the human spirit.
The bluff on the Bloedel Reserve has picturesque views of Puget Sounds--enough to take your breath away. But if you add in a quartet playing music inspired by public gardens, you might think you're in nirvana.
This concert is perfect way to spend a mid-summer night under the setting sun. Tickets are on sale now. Rose & the Nightingale
