AudioBus: Mission Creek co-presented by Adobe Books
The AudioBus is a moving venue, giving audiences an adventurous sonic experience like never before. The sound artists and musicians curated for the AudioBus compose their San Francisco route and perform live scores to the scenery moving past them. For AudioBus: Mission Creek, sonic artists Jeff Ray and Jorge Bachmann bring you back into the past and guide you forward into the future following the once prevalent Mission Creek underneath San Francisco. Narrated by Adobe Books' Andrew Mckinley and special guests. This unique collaboration explores profound themes of the past, from nostalgia to displacement, and the future ideas of technology and possibility. Double-decker bus, courtesy of CitySightseeing San Francisco, is a vintage UK-imported open-top biodiesel bus with installed Sennheiser headphones for audiences.
SUNSET TOUR: check-in 8pm/boarding 8:15pm/departure 8:30pm
NIGHT TOUR: check-in 9pm/boarding 9:15pm/departure 9:30pm
BOX OFFICE: Will open starting at 7pm day of show. We will start a standby waitlist if a tour is full. Box Office will accept cash and credit.
CHECK-IN EARLY: Think of this like going to the airport: You must arrive to check-in, sign waivers and get your seating priority. The earlier you check-in, the better seating you will have. Then you can relax, have a drink, look at some art, and wait in the lounge. We recommend you arrive to check-in at 8pm for the Sunset Tour and 9pm for the Night Tour.
BOARDING: Be ready 5 minutes before Boarding and wait to listen to your seating priority area to be called. Watch for any status updates/changes at the Check-In station.
BUS WAITS FOR NO ONE: The bus is on a strict schedule so we can not wait for late comers. Your ticket will be given to standbys 10 minutes before departure. There are no refunds but we can try to accommodate you on the next tour if there is space available.
DRESS WARMLY: The open-top double decker bus offers stunning views, but the tour is at night so bring blankets to keep warm.
PLEASE REMEMBER: A waiver of liability is required to be signed at Check-in to board bus. Ticket holders are strongly advised to check-in 30 minutes prior to departure. At 10 MINUTES before scheduled departure, tickets will be released to the standby waitlist. Venue opens at 7pm. First people to check-in will have priority choice of seating - open top view or bottom artist view.
