Bellissima Opera, founded in 2006, was formed to preserve the art of classical singing and to introduce audiences to the great tradition of opera, classical and sacred music. They have received critical acclaim for their ability to reach those new to classical music and to provide the veteran music lover with greater insights into well-known works.  With both this CD and their earlier recording, A Night in May, Bellissima Opera hopes to continue to expose audiences to the power, beauty, and mysticism of the natural voice. Music has the great power to heal the soul, lift the spirit, and put us in touch with a higher realm of spirituality.

"As Violetta, Steyer sang with tonal beauty and dramatic conviction.  Her legato was seamless and she was impressive at both ends of the vocal range - we were in tears at the end."
-WFMT's Andy Karzes

"Martorana is one of the few tenors in the world who can interpret the songs of Francesco Paolo Tosti and Neopolitan songs as well as Bergonzi and Di Stefano."
-Renowned Italian coach Ubaldo Gardini
