HOMEBODY
FINAL EXTENSION!!! NOW PLAYING FRI'S / SAT'S THROUGH JULY 27. (Due to space availability we must close on the 27th.) Tickets are $20.
"Mr. Kushner's glorious specialty is in giving theatrical life to internal points of views in which our thoughts meld with a character's wayward speculations or fantasies. Mr. Kushner achieves that rich double vision that he can summon better than any other living American playwright. He makes the personal and the universal, the trivial and the cosmic come simultaneously to life in a single character's bewilderment." (Ben Brantley, New York Times)
Mary Ewald plays the Homebody, direction by John Kazanjian, design by Nina Moser and Lindsay Smith: the same creative team that last year staged Samuel Beckett's HAPPY DAYS, which the Seattle Weekly declared "a terrific production" and the Seattle Times selected as one of the best productions of 2012.
**LOCATION--PLEASE NOTE**!! Because New City has a different mailing address than our physical space, there has been confusion on search engines. Our theater is located at 1406 18th Ave, which is just north of Union St., south of Madison.
**PARKING--Street parking as well as a public lot at the park adjoining the Hamlin Robinson School on Union.
