When two, queer San Francisco lovers learn more about the environmental crisis, they see red and go green. Beth Stephens is a sassy butch artist and professor. Annie Sprinkle is a high femme ex-porn star and sexologist. Together they join the environmental movement only to discover they don't quite fit in. So they do it their way. They switch the metaphor from "Earth as mother," to "Earth as lover," come out as "ecosexual," act-up, fight back, get real dirty, do a bondage inspired protest. The performance will include arboreal frottage, a compost toilet, and ecosexual wedding vows. Glamorous boot camp counselors will assist in demonstrating twenty-five ways to make love to the Earth, including how to talk dirty to plants. Stephens sings her heart out as Sprinkle does a ballet striptease for the planet. Bring your camera for photo-ops. By the end of this performance event, you just might realize you are ecosexual too.
