Music by the most famous Jewish composer of the Baroque era, Salamone Rossi Hebreo (Solomon Rossi, Jew), along with psalms from Benedetto Marcello's most famous work, the Estro Poetico-Armonico, including Sephardic Hebrew melody.
And...the program will be rounded with an excerpt from our new CD, from a work by another northern Italian Baroque composer, our namesake and another Benedetto: Benedetto Vinaccesi.
