All in the Timing
Six short plays by David Ives focusing on language and wordplay, existentialist perspectives and romantic relationship complications. Three of Tucson's most respected theatrical personalities each direct two plays. Carrie Hill, in her directorial debut, takes on Sure Thing and Words, Words, Words, with Rhonda Hallquist, Jonathan Northover and Carley Preston. Sheldon Metz tackles The Philadelphia and Variations on the Death of Trotsky, with Jarod Stokes and others. Eva Tessler undertakes The Universal Language and Philip Glass Buys a Loaf of Bread with Tanner Page and others. Previewing May 2 and playing through May 19, at the Cabaret Space, Temple of Music and Art.
