Is This Really Happening?
"Where do you come up with your material?" Where DON'T you come up with your material? Sometimes things are so strange you know they would be impossible to make up. Dana Alexander takes an introspective look at her upbringing and tries to discover how she became the black sheep when it seems like everyone around her is losing their minds. A light anthropological look at what makes us tick and why we do the crazy things we do.
ABOUT DANA
Dana Alexander began her career in 2001 in her hometown of Edmonton Alberta at the age of 18 years old. It was not long before she moved to Vancouver and began touring nationally with Yuk Yuk's Comedy Clubs. Dana can be seen on CTV'S Comedy Now and CBC'S Winnipeg Comedy Festival, The Debater's and Much Music's ''Video on Trial'' and this year at CBC's Halifax Comedy Festival.
Dana left Canada in 2011 to live in London England where she premiered her one woman show at The Edinburgh Fringe Fest. After rave reviews and several nominations including "Best Comic" and "Best International Act". It was not long before she began working on television on BBC programs like Russell Howard's Good News and Edinburgh Comedy Fest in 2012.You can catch her 3rd one woman show this August at The Edinburgh Fringe Fest.
