The Scientific and Evidence Base for Skin to Skin Contact
Fundraiser for OWLA and NWMMB (Grand Opening Thursday, July 11, 2013)
This is a one day conference and the noted speaker is Dr Nils Bergman,a Public Health Physician from South Africa who has lectured extensively to the perinatal community on the health benefits of skin to skin care, also known as "Kangaroo Mother Care."

Oregon Washington Lactation Association will be gratefully accepting donations at the conference.
OWLA membership is $25. You can sign up at the conference or email Kathy Schmitt at petesmt@aol.com for more information.
$25 of registration fee is tax deductible as a donation to charity.
Quiet babies in moms' arms are welcome and a place for nursing moms to pump will be provided.
