An evening-length show featuring choreography by Ryan Heffington, larger than life sets by Nolan Hendrickson and Adrian Gilliland, and couture costumes inspired by Hendrickson's paintings created by Mindy LeBrock.

Soundtrack provided by Grammy winner Daniel Lanois, Twin Shadow, Active Child, Autre Ne Veut, Dirty Beaches and more.

Not your typical night at the theater, the evening length performance will also feature opportunities for audience engagement. Thematically, the show will explore celebrity culture, human loneliness, public versus private image and new elements of drag and queer culture. Bridging the gap between a dance performance, a contemporary art exhibition, a fashion show, and a killer dance party  KTCHN continues Ryan Heffington's artistic trajectory towards becoming a culturally defining American artist, as well as arbiter of all that is strange, beautiful and "must-see" in Los Angeles.

Says Heffington, "With KTCHN my goal is to to create a new kind of art experience for Los Angeles audiences. The show is inspired by the paintings of New York-based contemporary artist Nolan Hendrickson." As the New York Times noted, 'In Mr. Hendrickson's electric celebration of the active body, everything, including sexuality and the surface of the canvas, is in perpetual motion.' It is precisely this aspect of his work that makes me so excited to create dance from his 'strenuously athletic' characters."KTCHN is an evening length, fully immersive performance experience directed and choreographed by Ryan Heffington and inspired by the artwork of Nolan Hendrickson. This event bridges the gap between a Broadway musical, fine art exhibit, a fashion show, and a dance party.
