Omakase PFA at Hokusei with Chef Kaoru Ishii
Portland Food Adventures is proud to present its first sushi PFA at Hokusei, one of Portland's must highly rated Japanese restaurants.
Chef Ishii comes to Portland from world-renowned Matsuhisa in Los Angeles, which can be argued as the sushi place that put sushi on the map in the USA. Owner Nobu has gone on to be the world's most prolific sushi chef. Hokusei is a beautiful space, and we have the entire restaurant to ourselves on this June evening. Chef Ishii will be joined by GM Cody Auger in hosting the evening. This is truly a special PFA you won't want to miss.
You will enjoy a minimum of six courses and pairings--cocktails, sake... all chef's choice.
Plus chef Ishii and Cody will share their favorite places, and you will leave with certificates to some fantastic Portland gems for you to enjoy (and remember, none of our certificates have minimum spend requirements!):
1. Chiang Mai - one of Portland's best Thai experiences, a gem that so many chefs mention as their favorite.
2. Levant - The buzz is on about Levant and Scott Snyder's unique flavors. (See our PFA June 20th!)
3. Sok Sab Bai - This food cart turned brick and mortar, serving delicious Cambodian food (right next to St. Jack.)

LEGAL STUFF (and SMOKING POLICY): Please read before buying tickets. We respectfully request that guests REFRAIN FROM SMOKING DURING THE EVENT (this means getting up during the dinner and going outside to smoke, and returning), as this is a communal dining experience. Portland Food Adventures reserves the right to refuse service to any patron who smokes or acts in an inappropriate manner. No refund will be given, since the restaurant will have planned the meal for a particular number of guests. Since this is a communal dining experience we ask you to be respectful of other guests and restaurant employees in every respect. There may be expiration dates for your certificates. Tickets are non-refundable, but buyers may call 503 208 4290 to change the name of the reservation at will-call up 24 hours before the event, if for whatever reason you choose to give the ticket to someone else.
By coming to this event, unless you request otherwise in writing, you acknowledge that there will be photographers at the event, and the use of your image in blogs or for any reasons is authorized by you. Please inform any guests for whom you are buying tickets.
