Shaping Youth Special Sneak Preview in San Mateo of 'Two Angry Moms' Added!
Find out how you can get better food in your child's school as filmmaker Amy Kalafa and Better School Food's Susan Rubin (the "Two Angry Moms"!) stir up some excitement with a recipe for taking action in this documentary of their nationwide school sojourn that inspires alternatives, champions change, and gives you the ingredients you need to make a difference in YOUR neighborhood.
Shaping Youth will be hosting the film in the fall throughout the Bay Area as a fund-raiser for our hands-on 'reality show' wellness program called "Dare to Compare: A Gross Out Game for Good Nutrition," to scale our counter-marketing tactics onto the internet for open source, universal access via train the trainer digital downloads.
To prepare for our big event at Delancey St. Foundation Screening Room May 14th, please join Amy Jussel, founder & executive director of Shaping Youth.org (dealing w/media & marketing's impact on kids) at a special San Mateo 'sneak preview' screening in the private home of Lars & Janet Fuller! Many have mentioned they "can't get to S.F. on a school night" so we wanted to make sure our volunteers were debriefed, and our interested parents that CANNOT make the main screening at least have a nearby opportunity rather than wait until fall! So Join Us! Limited ticket availability due to the intimate screening room setting.
Saturday Night, May 10th, 6:30-8:30pm.
