On Friday, March 15th, art rock band Schooltree, fronted by Lainey Schooltree (Steamy Bohemians, Jerkus Circus, Bent Wit Cabaret), will perform the ancient rite of ALBUM RELEASE, a mystical festival during which many small discs affixed within squares are released into the wild like so many carrier pigeons of rock. First, WITNESS wanton pagan revelry in the form of burlesque, comedy, spoken word, bizarre frolicking, and general weirdness celebrating awesome stuff like revolution, rebirth, and getting wasted. Then, OBSERVE Schooltree (www.schooltreemusic.com) pacify the gods of art rock via the ritual sacrifice of your virginal ears. NONE WILL BE SPARED THE MAJESTY. Finally: BEHOLD the high voltage, cosmos-rocking, downright mythological wonder that is Count Zero (www.count-zero.com), as they are resurrected from hiatus, as was once prophesized by legend.
