Slow Food Russian River Joins With The Sebastopol Documentary Film Festival
As we did last year, Slow Food Russian River sponsors one of the films of the Sebastopol Documentary Film Festival (March 21 - 24, 2013).
We have chosen the film Betting the Farm, a story of small rural Maine dairy farmers who launch their own milk company when they have lost their contract with a large milk company a gamble that will either ruin or save them.

After the show SFRR co-hosts a closing party for the Sebastopol Documentary Film Festival where we celebrate local dairy farmers and foodcrafters and offer tastings of local cheeses and ice cream.
Tickets for the party are $10 and are also available at the box office of the Sebastopol Center for the Arts, 282 South High Street, Sebastopol.
