The 9th Annual REEL Recovery Film Festival & Symposium Los Angeles is presenting a FREE Trainspotting 1 (1996) A brutal, often times funny, other times terrifying portrayal of drug addiction in Edinburgh. Not for the faint of heart, but well worth viewing as a realistic and entertaining reminder of the horrors of drug use. THE SEQUEL: Trainspotting 2 (2017) Trainspotting adds an intoxicating, emotionally resonant postscript to its classic predecessor, even without fully recapturing the original's fresh, subversive thrill.
