In this slice-of-life comedy featuring an ensemble of todayʼs funniest comedic actors, parents get down and dirty as they become feverishly obsessed with their 7 year-old daughtersʼ soccer season. From tryouts to the State Cup Championship game, Kathy (Janeane Garofalo - SNL, The Truth About Cats & Dogs) is swept up into the mania of competitive, over-involved parents who stop at nothing to ensure their daughters get the playing time and training to make it to the top. The worshipped Coach Nick (Christopher Titus - Comedy Central, Titus) has everyone in the palm of his hand: the tennis skirt- donned know-it-all mom (Cheri Oteri - SNL) and her frenemy (Rebecca Budig - All My Children), the social climbing divorcee (Reiko Aylesworth - 24), the college scholarship- obsessed dad (Bill Sage - American Psycho), and the assistant coach (Michael Boatman - Arliss, Spin City) who constantly seeks approval to compensate for a lack thereof from his emasculating wife (Kristen Johnston - 3rd Rock From the Sun). Amidst carpools, laundry, and orange slices, Kathy struggles to keep up with the madness while desperately trying to maintain her sanity. Laugh with and at these ridiculous but all too familiar millenium parents.
