THALEA STRING QUARTET
Brave New Music launches its fifth season of chamber music concerts with the San Francisco based Thalea String Quartet. Their program will include music by Mozart (K. 428), Satellites III, "Dimensions" by Garth Knox, and Mendelssohn's Quartet in F minor, Op.80.
The Paul Mahder Gallery venue will provide a backdrop of international contemporary art, and fine local wines will be available by the glass.
The Thalea String Quartet has been hailed as "having the potential to be one of the finest [quartets] of their generation. They bring exuberance and technical proficiency to their performances.
