Transitions 2017

Please join the Pacific Northwest JET Program Alumni Association (PNWJETAA) for Transitions: Opportunities Forum & Networking Expo!

Transitions is one of PNWJETAA's biggest events and draws from the experiences of our alumni and members of the community. It was originally aimed at recently returned or relocated JET Program participants, who had just finished their assignments in Japan. However, Transitions has now evolved into a more comprehensive event, which seeks to meet the ever changing and expanding needs of all of our members. Attendees may be seeking immediate employment,or may be interested in new opportunities to advance their skills through continued education and/or greater community involvement. Whether youre a new returnee or youve been back for a few years, come to Transitions to explore your options and plan your next step on whichever path you choose to pursue!

We will have time set aside for a resume workshop, so please bring printed copies of you resume in order to have it reviewed and critiqued.

A photographer will be on site to take photos for those who need a professional headshot. Although business attire is NOT required at this event, it's always a good idea to dress for success, as you never know who you may meet!

*This is an all day event light snacks will be available through out the day. Lunch will not be provided. Since there are no nearby lunch options, you may wish to bring your own lunch or take advantage of our pre-order option for Vietnamese Banh Mi (sandwiches).
